Case: the video was removed from sources but remained in search
Starting point: an unwanted video appears on several pages. After one source changes, some search results still display old titles or previews.
This page does not describe a specific client and is not a promise of outcome. It is a composite scenario based on typical situations, created to explain the workflow.
Starting situation
There is a source video URL, several embedded copies and search results containing outdated snippets or previews.
What we do
- Check all known source pages and embedded copies.
- Work with platforms and hosting providers through available lawful channels.
- After source changes, submit separate requests for outdated search results.
- Run a control search using filenames and distinctive phrases.
Illustrative outcome
Illustrative outcome: source pages and search visibility are handled as separate layers; outdated snippets are gradually refreshed or removed, and unresolved results are tracked for follow-up.
Why early contact matters
If a video is gone from the website but still appears in search, the cleanup is not necessarily finished. Send the source and search URLs so both layers can be checked.

If the material is already online, send the known URL now
One known URL is enough for an initial review. If you do not know where else the material appears, select deep search. The sooner source URLs and identifiers are preserved, the sooner the removal workflow can begin.
